Dooen Landfill Cap

Dooen landfill is located at Ladlows Road, Dooen and cap construction was comprising of 500mm thick compacted clay cover, 700mm thick soil sub-base layer and 500mm thick top-soil layer.

Terra Firma Laboratories was engaged by Horsham Rural City Council to act as Geotechnical Inspection and Testing Authority (GITA) and perform Level One supervision and testing works for the earth works of landfill rehabilitation cap construction accordance with AS3798-2007 Guidelines for Earthworks for Commercial and Residential Development and the project technical specifications.
